The Introduction to Space Electronics programme teaches you how spacecraft and rockets think. Over four weeks, you’ll design, assemble, and test your own flight computer, a complete electronics system you can keep.
You’ll learn core skills used across aerospace, robotics, and embedded systems, all through practical, supervised sessions.
Breadboard circuits and test components
Learn microcontroller programming
Assemble and solder your own PCB
Integrate sensors and collect real data
Test your flight computer during rocket launches
This programme is highly interdisciplinary, giving you experience in electronics, programming, and hardware integration, skills valued across industry.
You’ll gain practical electronics experience from day one, build confidence with tools and soldering, and learn skills directly relevant to spacecraft systems, robotics, and embedded engineering. It’s also a perfect stepping stone into ManSEDS’ satellite, avionics, and payload teams.
