Continuing the development of the University of Manchester's first student hybrid rocket engine capability with an extensive design and testing campaign.

Developing ManSEDS electronics capability by creating an extensible flight computer platform to support our wider projects, future ambitions and skills development.

This academic year, this project will be focused on:

• Developing our first flight computer and modular ecosystem

• Developing control algorithms and data acquisition to support future projects

• Supporting our Aerospace Field Course project to utilise a dual-deploy parachute system

ManSEDS entry into the 2024-25 UKSEDS National Rocketry Competition.

Gaining operational experience with the Aerospace Field Course team for future operations and developing an advanced heavy launch system and large-diameter demonstrator rocket with a dual-deploy parachute recovery system.

Supporting CanSAT with a launch vehicle and launch operations in running the UK CanSAT competition.

Supporting our members in pursuing proposed space-related projects to develop ManSEDS capabilities.
